British Columbia Moose Hunting

This area produces some of the biggest moose in British Columbia due to it's close proximity to it's northern brothers from the Yukon. The "big boys" from the north have extended down into the guide area and have produced some "monster" bulls. It's not uncommon for us to harvest bull moose in the high 50 inch class or even the low 60's, and for British Columbia that is almost unheard of!

This particular area is classed as having "North-western Canadian moose", which are a completely different species than the "Alaska/Yukon" species so any of the monsters we take are comparable to the northern ones but are scored as the smaller, southern breed.

There are several fly-in camps ready for use! Backpack, boat or canoe hunts always produce great bulls! For the "not-so-adventurous", you can hunt from the luxury of the base camp in relative ease or stay at the Fable Lake cabin camp and play cards in the cookshack while watching the lakeshore for moose and caribou as they feed along the edges.
