British Columbia Black Bear Hunting

For black bear hunters, the spring is always a great time to pursue these animals! The southern 1/4 of the area has had some logging in the past so there's a great road system that can be used to get to where the bears are feeding on grass in the spring time and berries in the fall.

We've taken several monsters out of these areas over the years, many in excess of seven feet. Expect to take anywhere from 15 - 30% color phase bears, from reddish blond to chocolate brown. It's common for hunters to see up to 50 bears in a week of hunting!
